We bid farewell to Ardis L. Nelson (Arlington, South Dakota), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 10, 2024 at the age of 87. Ardis touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Olson and Gladys Olson (Eckman); and her significant other Bob. She is survived by: her children, Merwyn, Donald, Kenneth, Darrell, Darlene, Keith, Michael and Karen; her granddaughters, Megan, Mallary and Kari; her son-in-law Jeff; her grandsons-in-law, Drew, James and Jim; her great grandchildren, Natalie (Mallary), Isabel and Ryan (Megan); her brother Donald; and her friend Janet Nelson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Crawford-Osthus Funeral Chapel (305 E Ash St, Arlington, SD 57212).
Undesignated memorials will be given to the North Preston Lutheran Cemetery.
