It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Scott D. Swartout (Amherst, South Dakota), who passed away, on January 23, 2021. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Eunice Swartout and Harry Swartout; his wife Tricia Swartout; his children, Keifer and Brody; his stepson Adam McFarland; his parents-in-law, Mark, Linda Leiter and Joseph Ruisi (Judith); his siblings-in-law, David Ruisi (Melissa), Jenny Ruisi and Andrew Ruisi (Eliesha); and his nieces and nephews, Carmine, Louis, Joshua, Amanda and Joey.

Scott was a two time transplant recipient and was doing well with his health, until he contracted Covid in late December.

If desired, donations may be made in Scott's name to SPCA of Erie County.
