George Tapken Obituary

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Tapken and Emma Tapken (Siefken); his wife Mary Lu; his children-in-law, Lyle Christensen and Elizabeth Tapken; his siblings, Vernon, Wendell (Olive) and Gertrude Schramm (Howard); his siblings-in-law, Henry Hansen, Richard Reilly, Don Reilly (Nadine), Robert Reilly, Helen Jager (Art) and Harlan Mentzel; and his parents-in-law, Charles and Averil Reilly.

He is survived by: his children, Janice Christensen of Huron, Jim Tapken (Dianne) of Huron, Julie Linn (Bernie) of Pierre and Jackie Bolster (Dan) of Drummond, MT; his grandchildren, Wade Christensen (Christi), Charlie Christensen (Randi), Anna Nelson (Dan), Eric Price, Allie Joel (Jason), John Tapken (Nola), Megan Bertsch (Adam), Saran (Mason), Cleveland Bolster (Nichole), Cole Bolster (Jess), Tony Obr (Cassie) and Erin Mills (Seth); his great grandchildren, Quinten, Landen, Hayes, Jaxon, Keaton, Loagon, Hadley, Parker, Owen, Maryanne, Vanessa, Skye, Dylan, Reagan, Libby, Makenzie, Andrew, Elliot, Oskar, Camden, Quinn, Paisley, Aubrey, Emma, Noah, William and Baby Bolster; his siblings, Thelma Hansen and Norm Tapken (Wanda); his sisters-in-law, Adeline Reilly, Judi Reilly and Alice Mentzel; and his friend Penny Borkowski.
