She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Aesoph and Bernice Aesoph (Baloun); her former husband Gene Kayser; and her brothers, Jerry, Bobbie and Jeff.
She is survived by: her husband Mike Wharton; her sons, Chris Wharton, Ross Wharton and Kevin Wharton (Roxy); her stepchildren, Mike Kayser (Melanie), Stephanie Mulliniks (Mitchell), Tim Kayser (Rhonda) and Eric Kayser (Missy); and her siblings, Patty, Karen, Jackie, Joann, Mike, Steve and David. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; five great grandchildren.
