He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Albert Aulner and Frieda Aulner (Schulz); his wife Kate of Alexandria; his children, Carol Aulner Nicholson (Scott) of Letcher, Richard Aulner (Bobbie) of Alexandria and Gregg Aulner (Malinda Young) of Alexandria; his grandchildren, Jeff Nicholson, Katrina Nicholson, Molly Nicholson, Cordell Nicholson, Levi Nicholson, Lucy Nicholson, Jonathan Aulner, Stephanie Aulner, Joe Aulner, Chris Tassler, Samantha Schlaffman and Beth Aulner; his brother Robert; and his mother-in-law Ruth Pommer. He was also cherished by cousins, nieces and nephews.
