It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Luella Schladweiler of Alexandria, South Dakota, who passed away on December 1, 2021, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Brutty and Frances Brutty (Janzing); her husband Edward Schladweiler; her son Dennis; her siblings, Donald Brutty and Marcella Ehlke; and her siblings-in-law, George Schmit, Floyd Ehlke, Delores Brutty and Peggy Brutty.
She is survived by: her children, Gary Schladweiler (Diane) of Scottsdale, AZ, David Schladweiler (Patti) of Spearfish, SD and Marilyn Schaefers (Jeff) of Alexandria, SD; her daughter-in-law Evelyn O'Rourke; her grandchildren, Chris Schaefers (Kassandra) of Fulton, SD, Joe Schaefers (Tiffany) of Alexandria, SD and Emily Schaefers of Mitchell, SD.; her great grandchild Cain Schaefers; and her siblings, LaVonne Schmit of Mitchell, SD and Robert Brutty (Carol) of Brookings, SD.
