He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Darlene of Hawarden, IA; his daughters, Cheryl Kruid (Randy), Joanne Paulsen (Ray), Karen Hartwick (Tom) and Mary Jensen (Doug); his grandchildren, John Kruid, Tyler Kruid, Adam Twedt, Andrew Paulsen, Gina Setter, Cory Baker, Ryan Baker, Kyle Hartwick, Allie Hartwick, Melanie Hite, Molly King, Zach Jensen, Seth Jensen and Dylan Jensen; his stepbrother John Twedt of San Diego, CA.; his parents, Rudolph and Anna; his siblings, Maxine Hild, Dorothy Hammitt, Carol Van Buskirk and Roy Twedt; and his grandchildren, Mandi Jo Farley and Marcus Wayne Kruid. He was also cherished by 31 great-grandchildren.
