It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patrick James Wynthein of Alcester, South Dakota, who passed away on February 15, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arsene Wynthein and Lois Wynthein; his brother Michael Wynthein; his brothers-in-law, Tom Francis, Dean Johnson and George Schultz; and his nephew Jarod "J. D." Johnson.
He is survived by: his pets, Amy and Tanner; and his siblings, Susan Francis, Steven Wynthein (Teresa), Dan Wynthein (Diane), Kathy Wallace (Rob), Joan Wynthein, Debra Schultz, Lori Smith (Mike), Jill Olson (Mike) and Jane Wynthein.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the George Boom Funeral Home (3408 E 10th St, Sioux Falls, SD 57103). A celebration of life was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
