Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Nelda Hultgren of Alcester, South Dakota, who passed away at the age of 93, on September 19, 2024. She was predeceased by: her husband Dennis Hultgren; her parents, Arthur Olson and Cora Olson; and her siblings, Melinda, Arline, Rosella, LeVila, Cleone, Vernold and Gaylerd.
She is survived by: her children, Nancy Forsythe (Willard) of Akron, IA, Jean Doty (Dene) of Alcester, SD, Jahn Hultgren (Colleen) of Florence, SC and Ruth Henneman (Scott) of Omaha, NE; her grandchildren, Shaun Klemme, Kristen Jean Klemme, Vanessa Klemme VanDeWiele, Kyle Doty, Christopher Doty, Keith Doty, Craig Doty, Amber Hultgren Topping, Sarah Henneman Willson and Dylan Henneman; her brother Larry Olson (Betty); and her sisters-in-law, Dorothy Olson and Ione Lucht. She is also survived by nineteen great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandsons.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Albert E. Hoschler Legion Auxiliary or The Gospel Mission in Sioux City, Iowa, or a charity of your choice.
