It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marian Caroline Reed of Alcester, South Dakota, born in Hudson, South Dakota, who passed away on September 28, 2022, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Linder and Lena Linder; and her siblings, Carol Barnhart of California, Barbara Schmid of Sioux City, Joyce Slack of Harrisburg, Beverly Sweeney of California, Audrey Deno of Brandon, Robert Linder of Sioux Falls and Carl Linder, Jr. of Sioux Falls.
She is survived by: her husband Melvin Reed; her daughters, Bonita Rainey (Don) of Warsaw and Judith Cole (James) of Hudson; her brother Gary Linder of California; and her siblings-in-law, Richard Slack of Harrisburg and Jane Linder of Sioux Falls. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren.
