It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Sommervold (Alcester, South Dakota), who passed away on February 11, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ole Sommervold and Evelyn Sommervold (Larson); his wife Dolores "Dee" Johnson (Ter Wee); his stepchildren, Gene Johnson and Joni Cleary (Tim); his stepgrandchildren, Andrew and Emily; and his brother Richard. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews; and many friends.
