He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Hopf and Sophia Hopf (DeBoer). He is survived by: his daughters, Jennifer Hopf of Sioux Falls, Melissa Beek of Sioux Falls and Heidi Faber of Sioux Falls; his grandchildren, Tavyn and Kyra Beek; his brothers, Larry Hopf (Jill) and Marion (Don Hopf); and his aunt Belva Johnson. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Jim Hopf, 66 died Friday, February 26, 2021 at the Alcester Care and Rehabilitation Center surrounded by his family after a long hard fought battle with Parkinson's Disease.
