He is survived by: his former wife Leona "Lee" Peterson; his wife Leona Beuckens of Alcester; his children, Greg Beuckens (Christle) of Central City, SD, Brad Beuckens (Sheila) of Sioux Falls and Jill Schultz (Jim) of Paw Paw, MI; his grandchildren, Molly Hillman (Robb), Megan Beuckens (Tony Cummins), Kelli Phelps (Rob), Jami Beuckens (Sherrod Franklin), Chad Schultz (Sara), Wade Schultz (Torey), Nathan Schultz (Nicole), Daniel Schultz (Morgan), Ian Schultz and Parker Schultz; and his brothers, Al Beuckens (Martha Johnson) of Canton, SD, Francis Beuckens (Rosemary) of Sioux Falls and Marvin Beuckens (Phyllis) of Sioux Falls.
