With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dallas Allen Thompson of Alcester, South Dakota, born in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 4, 2024 at the age of 73. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Thompson and La Verne Thompson; and his sister June. He is survived by: his wife Linda Thompson (Kotzian); his children, Heather Trowbridge (Tom) and Jason Thompson (Jaclyn); his grandchildren, Neil, Noelle, Charlotte, David Trowbridge, Isaac, Elijah and Alexis Thompson; and his siblings, Dennis Thompson (Marlys), JoAnn Taylor (Art), Janis Gordon, Judy Steinfadt (Jon Cramblett) and Joelle Baarley. He is also survived by 18 nieces and nephews.
