Cleo Clark Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Cleo Clark of Alcester, South Dakota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 16, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Hongslo and Bernice Hongslo (Johnson); her husband Jay Clark; her sister Audrey Ball (Pat); and her granddaughter Amanda Jensen.
She is survived by: her children, Monica Jensen (Jimmy) of Beresford, Clay Clark (Roxanne) of Alcester and Gavin Clark (Yvonne) of Beresford; her grandchildren, Josh Clark (Melissa), Yolanda Dirnberger (Josh), Drew Jensen (Emma), Lennea Olson (Garret) and Sadie Bottorff (Chet); her great grandchildren, Quinn, Wyatt Clark, Isabelle, Isaac, Melody, Noelle Dirnberger and Huxten Bottorff; and her brother-in-law Jerry Clark. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and a host of friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Alcester Baptist Church (409 Iowa St, Alcester, SD 57001). A prayer was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
