He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Aadland and Bertha Aadland (Rye); his wife Jenean Steensland; his sister Lucy Geffre; and his brother-in-law Jim Hemmah.
He is survived by: his children, Troy Aadland (Shannon) of Trent, SD, Todd Aadland (Nancy) of Pierpont, SD and Tara Smith (Hal) of Hampton, MN; his grandchildren, Taylor Salter (Cullen), Tayson Aadland, Nikolas Aadland, Alexandra Smith and Ivy Smith; his great grandchildren, Taylen, Caden and Tyler Salter; and his siblings, Beverly Hemmah of Sturgis, SD and Roger Aadland (Diane) of Watertown, SD. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
