He was predeceased by: his parents, Zeno Esser and Mary Esser; and his brother Zeno Esser Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Antoinete "Toni" Trebilcock; his children, Laura Hummel (Kelly) of Brookings and Mark Esser (Chelli) of Minneapolis; and his brothers, Jerry Esser (Vi) of Aberdeen and Tom Esser (Joann) of Bakersfield, CA.. He is also survived by six grandchildren.
