He was predeceased by: his father Elmer. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie; his children, Sarah Ochsner (Silvio Reichmuth) and Jordan Ochsner (Haruna Miyagawa); his siblings, Robert Ochsner (Sue) and Kristi Ochsner; his granddaughter Alva Reichmuth; his siblings-in-law, Veronica Lachappelle and Kerry DeVries; and also, Jacob Ochsner, Matthew Ochsner, Adam Ochsner, Erin Ochsner and Laura Ochsner. He is also survived by eight nieces, and one nephew.

Vocal selections will be "I Am Sure I Shall See the Goodness of the Lord", "God is my Shepherd", "Be Thou My Vision", and "How Firm A Foundation".

“Bonnie, Sarah, Jordan and family, Vic and I extend our upmost sympathy. We will always remember Tom’s humor and the many jokes he played on us all. We cherish the times spent together in school, work and continued meet ups in later years. Tom was an extra Big Brother from Triangle, a co-worker from Nevada, and long time friend to our family. We will continue to wait for the random phone call, the unexpected lunch date, another fishing trip. Our hearts break with all of you. The Kastners”
