She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Knudsen and Lizzie Knudsen (Hansen); her spouse Owen Nielsen; her son Kenneth Nielsen; and her siblings, Clarence "C. V.", Della Peters, Elsie Runn and Edna Knudsen.
She is survived by: her son James Nielsen; her grandchildren, Sheila, Thomas and Michael; and her great grandchildren, Kyle, Nathan, Joseph, Ella, Maya and Esme. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
