He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Rook and Lois Rook (Wenner); his brothers, Ed Rook, Clarence Rook, Norman Rook and Roger Rook; and his brothers-in-law, Dick Sauer and Brian Sauer.
He is survived by: his wife Sheila Sauer; his sons, David Rook (Candi) and Kevin Rook (Brenda); his grandchildren, Miranda Thomas (Ethan), Tara Weiszhaar (Eric), Ashley Hoogendoorn (Harley) and Nate Rook (Amanda); his pets, Jaz, Benelli, Stormy, Thor, Echo, Richard, Belle and Remi; his sisters-in-law, LaVonne Rook, Aldene Rook, Peggy Rook, Kathy Rook and Sharon Sauer; and his brother Jerry Sauer (Cherie).
Some include three heart attacks, pancreatitis, and five bouts of Covid.
