It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald Eugene Holland of Aberdeen, South Dakota, born in Britton, South Dakota, who passed away on August 20, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie Sr. Holland and Jeannette Holland (Sandve); his siblings, Shirley Fries, David Holland and Doug Holland; his brother-in-law Jack Fries; and his nephew Troy Holland.
He is survived by: his former wife Carol Johnson; his wife Marge Trefz; his children, Ronda Layson, Keri Retzer (Scott) and Bryan Holland (Amanda); his siblings, Junior Holland (Deb), Ricki Holland, Carol Frybarger, Cynthia Fetter (Larry) and Debra Holland; his grandchildren, Michael Retzer, Zachary Retzer (Miranda), Shelby Retzer, Hailey Holland, Kaitlyn Holland and Derek Holland; and his great grandchildren, Brailynn Fischer and Harper Retzer.
