Fastenau of Aberdeen, South Dakota, born in Clarinda, Iowa, who passed away on July 4, 2022, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Eldo B. Fastenau and Viola M. Fastenau (Schroeder). He is survived by: his wife Ellen Ann Spaulding; his sons, Randall Fastenau (Kristine) of Aberdeen and Daniel Fastenau of Bismarck, ND; his grandchildren, Jacob Fastenau, Erik Fastenau and Megan Fastenau; and his siblings, Norma McCutchan (Jim) of Creston, IA, Don Fastenau (Patti) of Afton, IA and Jerry Fastenau of Corning, IA.. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
