It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Brotzel of Aberdeen, South Dakota, who passed away on March 10, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Brotzel and Mary Brotzel (Mullner); his spouse Orva "LaDonna" Walker; his daughter Cheryl Lynn Ford (Todd) of Wayne, NE; and his siblings, Earl Duane, Larry, Lawrence and Mary Lou McKittrick.
He is survived by: his children, Robert Brotzel, Jr. (Marilyn) of Apple Valley, MN, Leo Brotzel of Sandstone, MN, Linda Gilgosch DeMayo (Bruce) of Granite Falls, NC, Dan VanHorn (Beth) of Bloomington, MN, Denise Dolney (Tom) of Bloomington, MN, Brenda Donohue (Tom) of Bruce, WI and John Brotzel (Karen) of Frederick, SD; and his sisters, Janice Geist of Aberdeen, Jean Clark (Gary) of Hecla and Marjorie Allbee of Aberdeen. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren; and his special friend.
