He is survived by: his wife Doris Jacobsen; his children, Denise Heupel (Neil) of Seguin, TX, Donald Helgager (Robin) of Roseau, MN and Rhonda Helgager of Aberdeen, SD.; his grandchildren, Skye Heupel (Stephanie), Brianne Foell (Justin), Kelsey Heupel, Rachel Helgager, Ethan Helgager (Megan), David Helgager (Brittany) and Toby Eilers (Sara); his great grandchildren, Zachary, Everett, Declan, Carter, MacKenzie, Graysen, Finley, Asher, Esther, Ellyana and Gracelynn; his sister Charlotte Nelson (Terry); and his sister-in-law Wanda Helgager.
