He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Duane Hofland and Verona Hofland (Grimsrud); his wife Cathy Post of Aberdeen; his grandchild Erin Verona; his daughter Jessica Norman (Scott); his grandchildren, Easton, Hayden and Charlotte; his daughter Erin Fiegler (Joei); his grandchildren, Bo and Samuel; his siblings, Rick Hofland (Cindy) and Dawn Pederson (Layton); his siblings-in-law, Steve Post (Linda) and Deb Post; his nieces and nephews, Dustin Hofland (Kristin), Nick Hofland (Ashley), Dani Kleindl (Jake), Lee Pederson (Maddie), Emily Puetz (Andrew), Jeff Post (Heidi), Jason Post (Jessica) and Jennifer Smith (Tony); his parents-in-law, Dorothy Post and Gib Post; and his brother-in-law Scott Post.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 29th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Aldersgate Church (502 S Lincoln St, Aberdeen, SD 57401). A prayer will be held on Sunday, September 29th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the Schriver's Memorial Mortuary and Crematory (414 5th Ave NW, Aberdeen, SD 57401). A memorial service will be held on Monday, September 30th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Aldersgate Church (502 S Lincoln St, Aberdeen, SD 57401).
