He was predeceased by: his father Jack Weiss. He is survived by: his brother Pat; his mother Patty Weiss of Hot Springs; his siblings, John Weiss (Tracy) of Hot Springs, Jonas Weiss (Mary) of Dolores, Colo. and Dana Nachtigall (Brett) of Hot Springs; and his nieces and nephews, Jake, Amanda Rau (Weiss) of Spearfish, Cameron, Holly Weiss of Hot Springs, Jesse, Carlie Atwood (Weiss) of Cheyenne, Wyo., Randi Weiss of New York, N. Y., Derrick, Chandel (Weiss) of Omaha, Neb, Trey, Regina Nachtigall of Spearfish and Jaylen Nachtigall of Hot Springs.
A memorial has been established to benefit the Hot Springs Little Bison Youth Wrestling Program and to create an award that will annually honor an area 106-pound high school varsity wrestler – the smallest weight class of the tournament.
