She was predeceased by: her parents, John Schoch and Katherine Schoch (Kreitel); her husband Matt Malsom; her son John; and her siblings, John, Ed, George, Harvey, Eva Roesler, Frances Guthmiller and Helen Schwan.
She is survived by: her children, Diane Allbee (Bob) of Roscoe, SD, Angeline Crawford (Randy) of Aberdeen, SD, Marilyn Wik (Ray) of Aberdeen, SD, Frances Monks (Phil) of Louisville, KY, Mathew Malsom (Londa) of Roscoe, SD, Pius Malsom (Sue) of Roscoe, SD, Harlan Malsom (Ramona) of Pella, IA and Mariann Malsom (Billy Pahl) of Aberdeen, SD; her sister Gladys Streifel; and her sister-in-law Anna Schoch. She is also survived by 25 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren and two on the way; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 9:30 AM. A wake was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Schriver's Memorial Mortuary (414 5th Ave NW, Aberdeen, SD 57401). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (409 2nd Ave NE, Aberdeen, SD 57401).
