It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marian D. Nelson (Aberdeen, South Dakota), who passed away on March 8, 2019, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Darrell; her daughter Nancy Iten; her parents, Oscar Cornelius and Mayme Cornelius; and her brothers, Maurice Cornelius, Charles Cornelius, Curtis Cornelius and Ronald Cornelius.
She is survived by: her children, Darrylin Hogie (Phil), Patricia Nelson, Wendy Okerlund (Larry), Richard Nelson (Jan), David Nelson (Laurie) and Sioux Falls; her son-in-law John Iten of Sioux Falls, SD; her grandchildren, Cami Powers, Celene Hirrschoff, Chad Hogie, Matt Nelson, Scott Iten, Tyler Okerlund, Kelly McCann, Kevin Nelson and Troy Nelson; her great grandchildren, Ainsley, Brody Powers, Sydney, Reese, Breck Hirrschoff, Finley and Nola Hogie; and her brother Stanley Cornelius of Rosholt, SD. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
