She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Luke and Jo Ann Luke (Koglmeier); and her brother Allan Luke. She is survived by: her husband John Weigel; her child Chelsey Papke (Jesse); her grandson Evan; her daughter Adrienne Besser (Dan); her grandchildren, Lauren and Molly; and her in-laws, Henrietta Weigel, Kathy Weigel and David Weigel (Kum).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Spitzer-Miller Funeral Home (1111 S Main St, Aberdeen, SD 57401). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
