She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Otto Monserud and Clara Monserud (Skatvold); her husband Owen Swanson; her children, Doug Swanson (Rhonda) and Lynae Sitter (Travis); her grandchildren, Leah Swanson, Hannah Swanson, Mitchell Krabill, Jacob Krabill, Michael Sitter (Arianna) and Megan Piorkowski (Parker); her great grandchildren, Braeden Street, Grayson Street, Henry Sitter, Harper Sitter, Ivy Piorkowski and Owen Piorkowski; and her sister Carole Monserud.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church (1620 Milwaukee Ave NE, Aberdeen, SD 57401). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church - Aberdeen (1620 Milwaukee Ave NE, Aberdeen, SD 57401).
