Loraine Sauer Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Loraine Sauer of Aberdeen, South Dakota, who passed away on August 26, 2022 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Rudolph Schumacher and Kathrina 'Katie' Schumacher (Bieber); her children, Rita Sauer, Myra Jean Sauer and Stan Sauer; her great grandchild Tyler Sauer; her sister Delores Schumacher; and her sisters-in-law, Leona Sauer and Esther Anenson.

She is survived by: her daughter Joyce Svihovec (Gene); her daughter-in-law Gayle Sauer; her grandchildren, Rod Sauer, Jodi Sauer, Jill Svihovec and Angela Svihovec; her great grandchild Samantha Sauer; her stepgranddaughter Amy Boland (Joe); her stepgreat-grandchildren, Emily Boland and Blake Boland; her niece-in-law Marie Iverson; and also Diane Sauer.

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, or the charity of your choice.
