He was predeceased by: his wife Jeanne; his parents, Robert Lyke and Myrtis Lyke; his brother Dennis Lyke; his brother-in-law Ralph Vornhagen; and his grandson Austin Lyke.

He is survived by: his sons, Ryann Lyke, Justin Lyke (Missy) and Kelly Lyke (Krista); his grandchildren, Kady, Karter and Isaac; and his siblings, Lynn Ritter, Larry Lyke (Ina), Cindy Vornhagen, Bob Lyke (Brenda), Sue Walker (Les), Pam Schoenfelder (Tom) and Mary Kaven (Joe).
