She was predeceased by: her parents, Gottfried Nitschke and Dora Nitschke (Schock); and her siblings, Hugo, Lloyd, Alvina, Loretta and Deloris.

She is survived by: her husband Ken Johnson; and her son Joel Nitschke. She is also survived by 18 nieces and nephews, many great nieces and nephews, and numerous great-great nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers you send a memorial donation in Lee's honor to the Aberdeen Family YMCA or Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.
