He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Walth and Rose Walth (Schilling); his wife Kathryn Cleland; his son James Walth; and his siblings, Allen Walth, Frank Walth, Jim Walth and Mabel Tadlock.

He is survived by: his children, Larry Walth, Jr. (Tonya) of Aberdeen, John Walth of Sturgis, SD and Linda Walth of Aberdeen; and his brother Wilbert Walth of Aberdeen.
