It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lawrence Bernard Benson of Aberdeen, South Dakota, who passed away on January 12, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Julius Benson and Christine Benson (Hove); his wife Irene Ramona Benson; his siblings, Gladys Wahl, Lorraine Geary, Marvin Benson, Alvin Benson and Robert Benson; his granddaughters, Alisha Arnoldy and Meagan Bauer (Margheim); and his great grandchildren, Aubrey and Briley Horning.
He is survived by: his children, Bud, Kim Benson (Judy) of Chaska, MN, Sonia Arnoldy (Mike) of Tea, SD, Susan Margheim (Bob) of Mapleton, ND and Sally Vandarwarka (Kevin) of Aberdeen, SD; and his grandchildren, Katie Lindquist (Tyler), Christopher Benson, David Arnoldy (Heidi), Steven Arnoldy (Emily), Dan Arnoldy (Kristin), Rob Margheim (Megan), Kaila Horning (Kolby) and Jamie Benson (Bethany).
