She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Feickert and Lydia Feickert (Dockter); her husband Elmer Hopf; her grandson Jeremiah Shaffer; and her sister Marcella Schock.

She is survived by: her children, Cheryln Shaffer (Robert), Gregory, Bernita Flannery (James), Roscoe, Bryan Hopf (Kathy) and Holly Rogers (Brent Meier); her grandchildren, Patrick Shaffer (Claudia), Emilie Myrmoe (Kevin), Corey Flannery (Lisa), Nathaniel Flannery, Rachel Binfet (Johnathan), Amber Dahl (Josh), Andi Hopf, Mariah Rogers (Matthew McIntyre), Micah Rogers and Michaela (Nate Solum); and her great grandchildren, Emmett, Miles, Jordy, Alexis, Gavin, Bryce, Luke, Morgan, Tre, Keevah and Conner.

She was active in Mary's Circle and the quilting group, member of Aberdeen Senior Citizens, South Dakota Dietary Manager's Association, Avera St. Luke's Hospital Retiree's, Auxiliary and foundation board.
