It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lavida Pleinis of Aberdeen, South Dakota, born in Tolstoy, South Dakota, who passed away on October 21, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Aldinger and Minnie Aldinger; and her brother Earl Aldinger. She is survived by: her husband Harold Pleinis; her children, Rick Pleinis (Terri) of Washburn, ND, Raelene Weig (John) of Aberdeen, SD, Rhonda Stallings (Jim), Roxie Stephens (Clay) and Rachelle Malsom (Brian); her brother Dwight Aldinger of Waynesboro, VA; her sister-in-law JoAnn Cunningham of Aberdeen, SD; and her grandchildren, Michael Weig, Jason Weig (Sheri), Justin Weig, Derick Stallings (Marissa), Alisa Russell (Eddie), Nichole Harty, Chris Harty, Jordan Stephens (Jane), Tate Stephens (Kristen) and Cody Pleinis (Eric Saathoff).
