He was predeceased by: his parents, Georgia Larson (Goulet) and Ludwig Larson; his former wife Marvel Elsen of Hecla, SD; and his grandson Brandon Larson. He is survived by: his wife Johanna Goebel of Aberdeen; his children, Carla Hunter (Jerome) of Chicago, IL, Paul Larson (Mary) of Aberdeen, Mark Larson of Melrose, FL and Stacy Grzincich (Michael) of Coon Rapids, MN; his stepchildren, Chris Dick (Mike) of Aberdeen, Rick Goebel (Tiffany) of Greenfield, WI and Stephanie Kortan (Kent) of Brookings, SD; and his sisters, Georgine Benoit (Jim) of Minnetonka, MN, Dona Cornielsen (Dean) of Billings, MO and Karen "Lois" Anderson (Keith) of Oceanside, CA.. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; eight step-grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

“I am so sorry to hear (read) this news. I have wanted to stop by and visit Keith for a while now, but life and appointments got in the way. I know I should have made more effort! Keith was good to me and we had good conversations when we saw each other, so I don't know why I procrastinated so much. Let that be a lesson to all of us...don't wait. See ya later Keith”
