It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of JoAnn Hinman of Aberdeen, South Dakota, who passed away on April 11, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Antone Meier and Barbara Meier (Held); her children, Denise, Diane and Daniel; and her sisters, Carol Thurman and Donna Ryman.
She is survived by: her husband Ronald of Aberdeen, SD; her daughters, Debra White (Terry) of Aberdeen, SD, Donna Ashdown (Ross) of Navarre, FL and Dawn Raymond of Farmington, MN; her grandchildren, Shannon Herzog of Minneapolis, MN, Brady Jensen of Bloomington, MN and Kelly Herzog of Roseville, MN; and her stepchildren, Rocky Hinman (Cindy) of Groton, SD, Duane Hinman (Laura) of Groton, SD, Ronald Hinman (Tasha) of Tea, SD, Teresa Ipena of Rosemount, MN and Tina Fordham (Mike) of Groton, SD. She is also survived by many stepgrandchildren and great-grandchildren; and two brothers and one sister.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 7:00 AM, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 10:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (502 2nd Ave SE, Aberdeen, SD 57401).
