It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janice Ann Rausch of Aberdeen, South Dakota, born in Hoven, South Dakota, who passed away on May 12, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clara Simon (Wirtz) and Henry J. Simon; her sons, Gary and Bobby; her children-in-law, Mike Schlosser, Kevin Holt and Carmen Rausch; her siblings, Norman, James and Gina Keltgen; and her great grandchild Amaya Larson.
She is survived by: her husband Duane John Rausch; her children, Rick Rausch (Linda) of Onaka, Tim Rausch (Teresa) of Florence, MT, Chad Rausch (Cortney) of Powell, WY, Jeannie Heim (Leonard) of Winner, SD, Cindy Schlosser of Bismarck, ND, Pam Holt of Mina, SD, Shellie Melius (Owen) of Olathe, Kay McGaugh (Scott) of Huron, Deb Owens (Joel) of Mitchell, SD, Kristie Beal (Jon) of Missoula, MT and Peggy Goetz (Lee) of Aberdeen; her siblings, Jack Simon (Joyce) of Raytown, MO, Dave Simon (Lisa) of Shannon, IL, Betty Hageman of Hoven, Marjean Stotz (Lelend) of Tolstoy, SD and Mary Jo Mueller of Cashton, WI; and her daughter-in-law Twila Rausch of Aberdeen. She is also survived by 54 grandchildren; and 127 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
