He is survived by: his sons, Cody Ketterling (Angela) of Aberdeen, Colten Ketterling (Shelby) of Aberdeen, Matthew Ketterling (Kari) of Aberdeen and Zach Mehlhoff (Megan Bosch) of Groton, SD; his girlfriend Konnie Anderson; his girlfriend's child Erin Roberts; his siblings, Jeffrey Ketterling, Ruth Gruber, Donna Gustafson, Candice Ketterling and Anna Ketterling; and his grandchildren, Ryleigh, Ashten, Jackson, Braxton, Corben, Hudson, Addisyn and Paisley.
In Lieu of flowers, the family prefers monetary donations to cover medical and final expenses.
