He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Herman; his children, Chad Herman (Nicole Nejezchleba), Corey Herman (Anne) and Jaimie Roberts (Ben); his grandchildren, Dominic Herman, Eric Herman, Lotus Herman, Jaida Sanderson (Matt Johnson) and Sydnie Sanderson; his siblings, Linda Jensen, Calvin Herman, Richard Herman (Geraldine), John Herman, Robert Herman (Kathleen) and Nickole Herman (Dwight Syverson); his siblings-in-law, Connie Herman and Steven Vance; his mother-in-law Rose Fix; and his pet Mac.
