We are sad to announce that on January 11, 2023, at the age of 77, Jack R. Heyd (Aberdeen, South Dakota) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Heyd and Matilda Heyd; and his brother Richard Heyd. He is survived by: his son Jack; his siblings, Viola Galusha (Charlie), Shirley Schaeffer (Eddie), Sharon Boschee (Dennis) and Karen Heyd; his wife Mavis Heyd (Moser) of Aberdeen, SD; his daughters, Debby Johnson (Daniel) of Sioux Falls, SD, Michelle Gierach (Mark) of Sioux Falls, SD and Jackie Martin (Michael) of Rapid City, SD.; and his grandchildren, Grace, Rhett Johnson, Ethan, Jonathan, Anthony, Charles Gierach, Emma and Miles Martin.

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials in honor of Jack.
