He is survived by: his wife Lavina Golz; his children, Penny Malsam (Dan) and Mark Nelson (Cindy); his grandchildren, Derek Hughes, Shantel Nikolas (Chris), Shayla Malsam, Trey Nelson and Ramsey Nelson; his sister LaVonne Brick (Richard) of Faribault, MN; and his great grandchildren, Collins and Abby.
The family prefers memorials to Zion Lutheran Church or the Kidney Foundation.
