He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Schroeder and Esther Schroeder (Scheller); his wife Annette Schroeder; his siblings, Harold Schroeder, Dolores Beeter, Howard Schroeder and Mary Ann Gelling Carter; his granddaughter Kami Serfoss; and his great grandchild Gabriel.
He is survived by: his children, Sheila Smith, Karlene Serfoss (Bob), Valerie Cadwell (Jay), Lisa Streckfuss (Daryl) and Mina; his grandchildren, Nichole Krenz (Jason), Stacy Peterson (Dustin), Levi Serfoss (Mandy), Aaron Serfoss (Heather), Lacey Fortner (Nick), Tyler Niesen, Austin Cadwell, Dyron Streckfuss (Stefanie), Dylan Streckfuss and Dreena Streckfuss (Andrew Wertz); his great grandchildren, Nathan, Jacob, Ethan, Porter, Gavin, Hudson, Ari, Rhett, Braylee, Kiera, Kamdyn, Rae, Keatyn and Dawsyn; and his brother Walter Schroeder (Carolyn).
