Gloria M. Opp Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 18, 2024, at the age of 82, Gloria M. Opp of Aberdeen, South Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob Rohrbach and Irene Rohrbach (Fischer); her husband Ferdinand "Ferdy" Opp; her daughter Ann Opp; and her siblings, Myron Rohrbach and Nancy Schlager.
She is survived by: her children, Shelly Pottebaum (Larry) and Paula Casanova (Jeff); her grandchildren, Andy Pottebaum (Enya Savchenko), Nic Pottebaum (Michelle), Aaron Casanova (Megan) and Noah Casanova (Jessica); her daughter Emilie Casanova; her great grandchild Brynn Casanova; and her brothers, Harlan Rohrbach and Robert Rohrbach (Sharon).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Spitzer-Miller Funeral Home (1111 S Main St, Aberdeen, SD 57401). A prayer will be held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A memorial service will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the First Reformed Church - Aberdeen (818 9th Ave SE, Aberdeen, SD 57401).
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials to Bethesda Home of Aberdeen or First Reformed Church Aberdeen .
