He is survived by: his wife Linda Brendel; his close friend Ryder; his children, Jim Kiefer of Mitchell, SD, Genean Koester (CJ) of Volin, SD and Janelle Lafferty (Nate) of Aberdeen, SD; his grandchildren, Jazmine Fahlsing, Brittany Kiefer, Khari Kiefer, Jillian Kiefer, Jozlyn Schumacher, Jordyn Lafferty and Ayden Koester; his great grandchildren, Jasper, Charlie Kirschenmann, Zain, Izzy Groth, Addy Kiefer and Nevaeh Fahlsing-Smith; and his siblings, Charlie Kiefer (Joyce) of Rapid City, Harold Kiefer (Alice) of Las Vegas, NV, Steven Kiefer (Cathy Tunge) of Sioux Falls, John Kiefer (Robin) of Fort Worth, TX, Elsie Kading of Sioux Falls and Lillian Merry (Randy) of Groton. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and numerous friends.
