He is survived by: his wife Irene M. Heilman; his child Shiela Haaland (Larry); his grandchildren, Nathaniel (Cherie), Nicole Zepp (Vaughn) and Lonnie (Kim); his son Ron Imbery (Cathy); his grandchildren, Ranee Nieman, Rachelle Gutierrez (Greg) and Rhonda; his daughters, Susan Schelske (Gary) and Amber; his grandson Isaac; his children, Sara Olson (Gunnar), Brent (Kate) and Sharon Goodspeed (Scott); his grandchildren, Terra Zahn (Rob) and Nadeen Comes (Brad); his daughter Carol Halvorson (Lee); his grandchildren, Jackie Madsen (Shane), Jenny Houwman and Amy Olsen (Travis); his son John Imbery (Coleen); his grandchildren, Nick, Miles (Callie) and Emily; his daughter Vickie Vanderhoek (Bob); his grandchildren, Corey (Jodi) and Melissa Jung (Chris); his child Juli Feist (David); his grandchildren, Tyler (Emily), Andrea Techen (Brady), Jordan (Courtney) and Hannah Schulte (Ethan); his daughter Janet Hughes; his grandsons, Matt (Callie) and Brandon; his child Sandy Hoerner (Mark); his grandchildren, Rachel Schnert (James) and Austin (Chantel); his daughter Becky Hinz (Dennis); his grandchildren, Savana Gilbert (Matt), Cassandra Feickert (Lance) and Mason; his child Jamie Imbery (Tisa); his grandchildren, Anthony (Caitlin) and Megan; and his brothers, Royal and Melvin (Betty). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church.
