It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George R. Casanova of Aberdeen, South Dakota, who passed away on April 9, 2024, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George A. Casanova and Olga Casanova (Brick); his wife Ruth Gunderson; his sons, Tom and James; and his siblings, Ervin, Joann and Howard.

He is survived by: his sons, Steve Casanova (Pat) of Aberdeen, Chuck Casanova (Robin) of Omaha, NE, Dan Casanova (Karla) of Rapid City, SD and Jeff Casanova (Paula) of Aberdeen; his adoptive daughter Pam; and his sister Dolores Inman.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be directed to Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Aspire Foundation, or Brown County Fair Foundation.
