Gene A. Reich Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gene A. Reich of Aberdeen, South Dakota, who passed away on September 1, 2020, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles and Hilda (Schilling); his parents-in-law, Leif and Jennie Solheim; and his siblings-in-law, Oscar, Marlin and Vesta Solheim.

He is survived by: his wife Janet Solheim of Aberdeen; his friend Atlanta Braves; his son Matthew (Leslie); his granddaughter Ada of Westminster, CO; his brother Charlie (Lana) of Northfield, MN; his niece Nicole (Wil); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Soren and Sydney; his nephew Grant; his nephew Ryan; his sister-in-law Janice Patterson (Robert) of Aberdeen; his nephew Chris; his great-niece Olivia; his niece Angie Schwan (James); his great-niece Grace; his great-nephew Brandon; his brother-in-law Hans Solheim; and also, Kley and Bernice Solheim. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.

Due to the coronavirus, a small private family service with live streaming will be held on September 3, 2020 at 11:00am at Zion Lutheran Church.
